Opening is standard, although I like Mike's funking and
plucking quite a bit.  He seems rarin' to go.

Jam segment at 4:23.. c'mon guys.. Trey's noodling in the
opening minute is aloof in places.. at 5:44, he starts
noodling more funkily, with fantastic accompaniment from
the others.  Solidly Tweezeresque.. nothing
awe-inspiring... Around 6:50, Trey finds a groovy theme,
that is reminiscent of the Mind Left Body Jam (but is NOT
the MLBJam), and is frankly very, very akin to a theme I
know I've heard him jam on elsewhere (and jam on better!).
Oh, 4/5/94!!  That's one of my fave versions, for those
who care...

Anyway, there really isn't anything to say about this
jam.  It is so basically Tweezeresque that it is
frightening, given some of the improvisational hose of
12/2 and 11/30 and 12/14..  this version so far is just
your typical eerie, boldly funky and semi-melodious
tweezergroove..  although, it does contain some very
off-key but melodious touches around 9:20.

God I love this band!!  Even when they aren't really doing
much, they still kick ass! =^]

At 10:20, HOWEVER, an ultra groovy theme is borne from
Mike, but Trey doesn't complement as well as he could..
and it is brief..

At 10:54, Page goes to the clav, and yeahhhhhhh.......
this is more like it.  Mike is funking in a splendid way,
with trey rhythmically and repetitively hitting a weird
lick on his 'doc which I can't describe, and Page is
claving groovily.. YEAH!!!!!  YEAH!!!!  FUUUUUUNNNNKY
......everyone, get down!!!! Yes!!!!!!!!

The groove in here is sssssssllllllllllaaaaaaaaaky... GET
OFF YOUR BUTT AND DANCE!!!!

As you can imagine, the groove in here is NOT
tweezeresque, but is a fun improvisational happy feet
Meters sort of jam..  Niiiiice... Trey gets on the
percussion kit around 13:40.  This is nothing like
anything I've heard them do in Tweezer.. it is more akin
to some of the versions of Free from the fall.. steady..
easy.. one of those "trey's on the percussion kit and page
is noodling away" grooves.. Fish and Mike are just Laying
It Down..

For people who like to dance to Tweezer with a happy face
on, shakin' that thang, this is the Tweezer jam for
youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu! =^]

At 16:57, Fish plays games with the rhythm.. kinda fits
and spurts in here.. Trey gets back on his 'doc, and
starts chording repetitively to build the groove back into
a more tweezeresque jam.. at 18:10, Henrietta kicks the
tweezer rhythm back in and Trey starts playing the tweezer
theme... Page comes in.. then the jam dissipates into a
brief closing jam.. THE NOTE comes in at 19:16 subtly..
and the dying out of the jam segment begins... and
perfectly, steadily dies out, with no special filler or
anything... until the very end.. where it sounds like Fish
wanted to throw out one last measure when Trey quit.. oh
well... total time 21:32.

A VERY fun version, though it didn't start out that hot.
6.5 rating.
